C/2020 F3 NEOWISE Shining over Krakow

C/2020 F3 NEOWISE is a long-period comet with a parabolic trajectory. The period of the comet is around 6800 years. It was discovered during March 2020 by the Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer.

It was a visual treat for all the folks who love the skies. Plenty of amazing pictures were taken from all over the world especially in the northern hemisphere.

Here are some stunning views from the beautiful city of Krakow. The comet shines over the city despite the light pollution it was still visible from the small mountain tops all around Krakow.

9th sdOB meeting

This year all seismoheads are heading to Hendaye, France for biennial 9th Meeting on Hot Subdwarfs and Related Objects. The previous 8th Meeting on Hot Subdwarfs and Related Objects was held in Krakow.
